Golden Jubilee Meeting

Islamabad Toastmasters Club held its golden jubilee meeting here, says a press release.

The meeting was attended by its members and some other guests. The Sergeant at Arms Ehsan Abbasi declared opened the meeting.

President of the club Suhail Iqbal while speaking on the occasion congratulated the fellow toastmasters and asked them to strive for better performance during next year.

Table topic master Mumtaz Meer invited nine participants to make impromptu speech. Mr Yo from Japan won the prize for Table Topic Speaker.

The topic given to him was ‘What is better for the development of a country, steel or gold?’

Out of the three prepared speeches, Mohsin Lodhi won the Best Speaker Award. His topic was ‘Water Revolution’.

Meanwhile, Islamabad Toastmasters Club received the President Distinguished Toastmasters Club Award from Toastmasters International, USA.
